ABOUT ME
I am here to support you in working towards realizing your hopes. I believe that there is healing in addressing the hard issues in a safe and supportive space. I strive to provide that space to my clients. I work with you to support you in creating and building the life and relationships that you want. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families utilizing this belief system. My therapeutic approach is compassionate, warm, and direct. In my non-counseling life, I enjoy doing art, hiking, running, and playing with my cat.
I have been a counselor for eight years now and I have considered it a privilege to work with each and every client and family wherever they may be. I have extensive experience working with children (ages 6 and up), adolescents, adults, and families with anxiety (OCD, phobias, etc.), depression, trauma, attachment injuries, life transitions, divorce, acculturation, gender identity, sexual identity, self-esteem, and self-injurious behaviors. I work with the LGBTQ+ communities, people of color, and children of immigrants. I am trained in providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I offer weekend appointment times.
